I’m currently working on a new EP which will be titled “word smith”
The concept of the EP is to use the notes from A to G to create words
then to use those words as patterns for the tb303 to create some word based acid
I have started a few tracks already, these have a sparse stripped down feel as I’m using only the tb303 and the tr707 as an accompaniment.
The first few tracks were short words such as FAG, BAD and DEAD. The later tracks have slightly longer words, the latest of which is CAGEFACE. Once I settle on the words and patterns more will be uploaded. Hopefully this release will be out soon on Hardwave records, if they like the tunes.
I also just realised you can spell CABBAGED – aah the fun of words!!
